The Crystal Sable Trophy
An annual Award for Literacy.
All competitors will require the recommendation of the academic institution at which they are students.
Several titles will be available for individual selection by students. The titles are designed to accommodate a wide section of potential literary interests including sciences, nature, technology, politics and psychology. A submission should be a minimum of 30,000 words. The ideal length is 85,000 and articles longer than 150,000 have to be evaluated outside of the parameters of this project.
Categories will initially be judged by the individual institutions, using criteria as determined by the head of literary studies.
Each invited academic institution will be permitted five entry projects, or titles. Regretably Sable Publishing House has staff restrictions and cannot accommodate more than this number of finalists from each invited school or university.
The criteria for the final decisions will be based totally on the findings of Sable Publishing House, in accordance with the House evaluation of market potential, humour, research, professionalism, and literary illustration.
All work will be evaluated for recommendation to the film industry, the arts, theatre, and other elements of professional vocation.
Essential criteria for the winning competitor will be that the selected work is suitable for publication; is evaluated as a potentially good selling project; will contribute positive academic, political or social enthusiasm and will be evaluated as a work of integrity.
Entry Applications will be invited on this page in due course.
